|  The venue for the wedding is in Historic Gold Hill, NC. It is a wonderful little village that used to be a gold mining town. It is very rustic with its wood-plank side walks. The people there are very friendly and inviting. We have reserved the Russell-Rufty Shelter for the ceremony and reception which is located at 735 St. Stephens Church Road, Gold Hill, NC. Remember to be there on Saturday, August 4, 2012 by 3:30pm. The ceremony will start promptly at 4:00pm with the reception lasting until 11:00pm.  Hey, Everybody!
I wanted to let you know that I have got group rates for us at the Super 8, in Salisbury, NC. I have personally checked out the rooms to make sure they are NICE and CLEAN. So, don’t worry about that. This hotel offers a continental breakfast (i.e. cereals, waffles, bagels, juice, etc…) and has an indoor pool. They recently purchased new mattresses and bedding which is a total plus in my book.
Now here is the information for the group rate:
Friday – Saturday: $52.98 plus tax = $61.00 nightly (for standard king or doubles)
Sunday – Thursday: $47.98 plus tax = $54.22 nightly (for standard king or doubles)
For Jacuzzi rooms the rate is $82.98 plus tax = $93.77 nightly
