Our Story

Jeremy and I met in 1998 in Greensboro, NC and dated briefly then. After we parted, we both ended up getting married to other people ;). I had a beautiful daughter, Eve from my previous marriage. Jeremy and I always ended up running into each other here and there over the years in friendly encounters. After we had both split from our spouses, we ran into each other again, but the timing wasn't right. He had moved to Washington, D.C. for his job and I remained in Greensboro, NC. My mother's family is from D.C. and my Grandmother and sister both live there. Jeremy had sent out a Myspace message that he was getting ready to get off myspace and I responded randomly saying that I was probably right behind him. We started talking through Myspace again and I learned that he was living in DC where I just happened to be heading in the next few weeks (September 2007). We decided to meet up for a drink. I didn't really think it was a date, and even brought my sister along thinking it was a catch up session over drinks with an old friend! But, we had so much fun and ended up texting constantly and talking over the next few weeks and months, seeing each other whenever we could! Jeremy moved back to Greensboro the following March. The rest is history!! We ended up with an unexpected blessing of a wonderful son, Cash, last February. We moved to Wilmington right before Cash was born and have started making a life here. I guess we realized that we couldn't live without each other and finally decided to make it official!! We are so excited about being married, although we already feel like we are! Can't wait to tie the knot!!

Our Wedding

Our Reception

Our reception will follow the ceremony and the cocktail hour at Saint Thomas Preservation Hall and we will party on afterwards in Jeremy and Chrissie true fashion (we have the place until 6am!!)! It will be fun-filled with wonderful music and great friends! Can't wait to share it with you all!!

FYI PARENTS ~ I will have babysitters set up in the Clarendon Inn (directly behind Saint Thomas) for after wedding & dinner. $5/per child until 10:30pm. This way some of you that may not be able to hang out long can at least hang until then! Let me know if you are in need of a babysitter so i have a head-count and know how many babysitters I need! Thanks!!

Travel Arrangements

I have blocked some rooms at the Hilton Riverside in Wilmington. We have a group rate under the Rominger/Overman wedding. There is a two night minimum stay. The Clarendon Inn is also booked for the wedding party and a few others. This is booked at this point. I have 25 rooms blocked at the Wilmingtonian under Rominger/Overman wedding, but reserve asap because of Riverfest! You have until Aug. 2, 2010 to reserve these rooms but I wouldn't wait that long... There are plenty of other hotels on Market St. that I would suggest as this weekend will be Riverfest (LOL), there will be plenty for you all to do during the day but it will be hard to get a hotel room if you don't book in advance!!
