Josh and I met while we were in High School. I was a Junior and Josh was a Senior. The night of the Miss Trinity pageant in May of 2002, Josh finally got up the nerve to ask me out on a date! So went, and after that, the rest is history. We have been together ever since. Josh is a firefighter for Pinecroft Sedgefield Fire Dept. and Shayla is graduating from UNCG in May of this year.

Josh planned this wonderful proposal to Shayla, and proposed on July 4th, 2007. They were out on the beach with a big group of their friends watching fireworks, and Josh got down on one knee in the sand and asked Shayla to marry him! Shayla was so surprised, he made her the happiest she'd ever been!! We are getting married on August 30, 2008 at the Groome Inn in Greensboro, NC. Our honeymoon is going to be in Jamaica. We can hardly wait to start our lives together!
