Erin Ellis & Jacob Holland
Location: Brides parents home
Jake and I met when I moved from Stokes County to Rockingham County in the 6th grade. I was sitting in the lunch room on the 1st or 2nd day of school when Lee Ann said "we should find you a boyfriend". About that time Jake walked in with that bright blonde hair parted down the middle (believe it or not it was the style then) and I told Lee Ann "thats him" and thats where it started. We "went out" for a couple of months and broke up. Until our senior year we didnt hang out very much but had mutual friends. During our senior year my friend shae and i were hanging out at her boyfriends house when jake came up there with his friend shawn. Shae kept telling me that Jake liked me so we started "dating" again. We dated from October 2001-December 2001 and broke up again. It wasnt until the summer of 2002 right after we graduated that I saw him again at the pool at Deep Springs and remembered what i was missing. We started dating again on June 10, 2002 and still here we are. In May 2007 we purchased our home together and on November 4, 2007 at the Lower Cascades at Hanging Rock he asked to marry me- but not before he went and talked to my dad and asked his permission. Mom and Dad said the nine days they knew of his impending proposal were the longest days and that it was so hard to not tell anyone. But here we are today planning our wedding and taking life day by day. On our wedding day we will have been together for 6 years and 3 months.
Our wedding will be held at my parents house in Stokesdale on September 20, 2008 at 4:00pm. The wedding will be held in the backyard.
The reception will folllow also at my parents home. It will be held directly after the wedding.
Our travel agency is A Way to Go Travel. The agent is Allen Williams and he has worked wonderfully for us. We will be leaving on Sunday, September 21, 2008 and flying in to Montego Bay, Jamacia. We will stay until Saturday, September 27 at the Couples Swept Away Resort in Negril, Jamacia along the famous "Seven Mile Beach". The resort is a adults-only, all inclusive resort.
We would just like to thank our family and friends for all the support and encouragement you have offered over the years. It means so much to have such a loving and caring support group. Since Jacob and I already have a household established, we encourage you to check out our honeymoon registry. This registry will help us to achieve our dream honeymoon that we so desire. We are counting down the months, weeks, and days until September arrives!! WE LOVE AND THANK EACH ONE OF YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS !!!!!!!!!
