Frank and Laura listened to the same radio program in Detroit on their way into work. The program had their own message board which Laura posted on and eventually made several friends. Laura moved to Greensboro, NC and shortly after, Frank stumbled across the message board and made the same friends. When Laura came back to Michigan for a visit, she asked her friends to meet up with her at JD's Key Club. Frank was brought along and this was how it all started. Laura invited Frank to a gathering at her parent's house the night before she left back for NC. Frank, undecided on making the 45 minute drive just to see "some girl", consulted the magic 8-ball. Frank was the first to arrive and one of the last to leave the night of the gathering, and they have talked every day since.
Our beautiful, tropical ceremony will be held in Harrison Township, MI at Gino's Surf. We'll be married on a gazebo overlooking Lake St. Clair with the reception immediately following in Gino's banquet hall. Between the ceremony and reception guests can expect to be entertained by the steel drum band and watch a sand castle being built. All while sipping on fruity island drinks and endulging in scrumptious appitizers.
Our reception will a terrific party! Gino's banquet facility has panoramic views of Lake St. Clair and serves an award winning Sunday brunch unlike any other brunch you've seen. After being serenaded by a single steel drum during dinner a live band will get everyone in the party spirit and dance us into the wee hours of the evening.
We'll have hotel arrangments made for all our out of town guests. Details coming soon!
We have been waiting for this day for a long time and are excited to be sharing it with all of our close family and friends. We hope that this wedding is one to remember, both for our own memories and for yours. We feel truly blessed to have such supportive parents, siblings and best friends who we couldn't imagine walking through life without. Thank you so much for joining us as we begin our new lives together.
