Hi everyone!!
We're back from our Honeymoon and we had a BLAST!! It took us a little longer to get there than we thought, our flight from Gboro was 2 hours late so that made us miss our connecting flight to St. Lucia in ATL. Our only option was to fly to Trinidad spend the night at the airport and fly to St. Lucia Tuesday Morning. We missed a day in St. Lucia but at least we got there, the other option was not to go until Thursday. Once we got there Tuesday morning it was beautiful, the weather was warm, skies bright and sunny and the water was cool and clear. We relaxed the first day and then Wed. we went Zip lining. We then went on a great tour of the Island and got to taste local fresh foods. When we got back we rode jet ski's for a while, which was loads of fun jumping the waves. That night we went out for my birthday celebration with couples we had meet while vacationing. Thursday the rain began and it didn't stop until Sunday morning when we left. So Thursday we took a boat tour to Soufriere, there we hiked to see the waterfalls and toured beautiful gardens. We then ate lunch with the Piton Mts. as our backdrop. Friday and Saturday majority of the water tours were canceled because of the rough seas. Friday we stayed around the resort because of the weather and enjoyed relaxing with a couples massage and then played board games all afternoon. That night the rain let up a little so we went to the local Friday street party. There they serve food, drinks, and sell gifts. Saturday we decided to try scuba diving so we took the resort course which allows you to dive 25 ft. Once we got through with that they weren't sure if we would be able to go out on the boat because of the weather but we waited for a little bit and they took us to a close by coral reef and let us dive for 25 minutes. It was amazing!!! We never imaged something could be so beautiful!! We unfortunately weren't able to do everything we scheduled because of the bad weather for 3 days, the adventures our friends purchased for us to experience that we weren't able to do they gave us the money so we could apply to other things while we were there.
Thank you all for making our honeymoon experience the best trip of our lives!!!! We are so grateful to have such wonderful friends supporting us. This has been a dream come true!! Please look through the pictures we have posted, I hope you can imagine yourself there with us, If it wasn't for ya'll it couldn't of came true.
Thank you again!!!
Jason and Erin NEAL :)
